This tour offers you the best of Darjeeling also known as Queen of Hill Stations and the Sikkim - northeast state of India bordered by Bhutan, Tibet and Nepal.

Starting with Darjeeling, lets you explore the bright green tea gardens, traditional architecture and the last remaining toy trains.

This trip then follows the path of Sikkim which possesses a part of the Himalayas with blissful landscape including India’s highest mountain, 8,586m snow capped Kanchenjunga. It also offers the traveller to explore the glaciers, hilly meadows and varieties of wildflowers.

Itinerary:

Day 1: Delhi

Upon arrival at Delhi International Airport, you will be welcomed and transferred to the hotel to check in.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 2: Delhi- Bagdogra – Darjeeling (93 kms approx. 3 hrs drive)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the airport for flight to Bagdogra.

Later proceed for Darjeeling.

Arrive and check-in at the hotel.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 3: Darjeeling

Early morning visit Tiger Hill and Ghoom Monastery.

Breakfast at the hotel

After breakfast proceed for city tour of Darjeeling visiting Himalayan Mountaineering

Institute, Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park, Tibetan Self-Help Centre Or Refugee Centre

Afternoon free to explore the surrounding on own.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 4: Darjeeling

Breakfast at the hotel;

Proceed for the toy train ride experiencing the spectacular landscape which unfolds as

the 2-foot gauge Darjeeling Himalayan railway, opened in 1881.

Afternoon take an excursion to Tukvar Tea Estate.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 5: Darjeeling- Pelling (75 kms. approx. 4 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Proceed by road to Pelling village which is situated altitude of 2000 mts.

Arrive and check-in to Hotel.

Afternoon visit Pemeyangste Monastery, Pemayangtse monastery & Rabdentse ruins.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 6: Pelling - Gangtok (127 kms. approx. 5.5 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Arrive and check-in to Hotel.

Rest of the day free for independent activities.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 7: Gangtok

Breakfast at the hotel;

Proceed for city tour of Gangtok visiting Rumtek Monastery, The Enchey Monastery

Namgyal Institute of Tibetology and Directorate Of handloom and handicrafts.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 8: Gangtok- Kalimpong (80 kms. approx. 3 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel;

Proceed by road to Kalimpong.

Arrive and check-in at hotel.

Afternoon proceed for city tour of Kalimpong visiting Flower Nurseries, Zang Dog Palri

Fo-Brang Monastery, Tharpa Choling Monastery & Thongsa Gumpa.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 9: Kalimpong – Chalsa (81 kms approx. 2 hrs.)

Breakfast at the hotel.

Depart by road to Chalsa. Arrive and check in to the hotel.

Rest of the day at leisure on own.

Overnight: Hotel

Day 10: Chalsa

Breakfast at the hotel;

Full day to enjoy the beautiful forest resort and the scenic views around.

Day 11: Chalsa – Bagdogra - Delhi

Breakfast at the hotel;

Transfer by road to Bagdogra (70 kms. approx. 1.5 hrs.) airport for flight to Delhi.

Arrive Delhi and proceed to the International airport for flight to onward destination.
